Get Free HIV Testing
According to the CDC, an estimated 1.2 million people in the U.S. have HIV. This includes over 150,000 people who don’t know they have it. New infections (40%) are transmitted unknowingly. Maintaining a healthy life and avoiding HIV transmission can be done by testing for HIV.
The CDC is currently advising that adults, teenagers, and pregnant women to get a routine HIV screening. This includes everyone ages 13-64. For those who have higher risk factors, the recommendation is to get screened once a year.
