Gerardo Anaya FNP is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Centro San Vicente’s Be PrEPared! Clinic (El Paso PrEP). Gerardo earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Gerardo has worked with diverse populations across the lifespan in various fields including pediatrics, internal medicine, emergency medicine, family medicine, and psychiatry. At the Be PrEPared! Clinic, Gerardo has enjoyed working on STI and HIV Prevention and believes the most important elements in healthcare are learning, adapting, and trust in the patient populations served. He looks forward to continuing troubleshooting healthcare needs with patients. Gerardo is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Celina Beltran

Chief Medical Officer

Celina Beltran, MD, MPH, is a family medicine physician and Chief Medical Officer at Centro San Vicente in El Paso, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, Master of Public Health (M.P.H) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. She has been in practice since 2011 and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Rudy Castañeda

Rudy Castañeda serves as the Special Projects Coordinator, has as Bachelor Science in Biology from the University of Texas at El Paso. He has been directly involved in the development and implementation of various programs targeting underserved populations. Some of these programs include one of the biggest Hepatitis C treatment clinics in west Texas, first community PrEP Clinic in El Paso and the first Transitions Clinic the state of Texas, which serves patients recently released from incarcerated settings. Rudy has worked in the STI and HIV Prevention field for the past three years, and as a member of the LGBTQ community, he has personally experienced the health disparities LGBTQ individuals face.    He enjoys developing services that help close the gap on health disparities because he believes that the LGBTQ community deserves healthcare that is equitable, free of systematic harassment and discrimination and culturally competent.

Maribel Gonzalez

Family Nurse Practitioner

Maribel Gonzalez FNP-C is a family nurse practitioner at Centro San Vicente’s Be PrEPared! Clinic (El Paso PrEP). She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Critical Care Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University, and a Master’s of Science in Nursing from UTEP. Maribel is an adjunct faculty for the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center Gayle Greve School of Nursing and teaches all levels of nursing students. Maribel is Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Patricia Gallegos

TelePrep Administrative Coordinator

Ms. Gallegos serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Centro Vicente. She has a comprehensive track record of creating innovative programs in FQHCs, extending from inception of an idea, through preparing persuasive grant applications, to developing and implementing the programs and providing an ongoing support structure. She possesses a master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Columbia University, New York City, NY, and a certificate in Value Based Health Care from Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH. Ms. Gallegos’ mission is to develop and expand the implementation of existing HIV prevention and treatment tools, including the development of new community-based interventions with the goal of ending HIV.
